I would Really recommend an Element Board. They are really sturdy and are hard to break. They also have fantastic grip tape and some sweet sweet graphics on the back of the board. For just the deck it would doubtless be nearly 60 dollars.
Hope I could help!

It sounds like you’re looking for a cruiser. A cruiser is basically a deck that’s small and portable, with some soft wheels so you can ride on the asphalt without getting jolted nearly too much. To some extent, you can pull off tricks on a cruiser, but they’re mostly just for riding nearly on. I got a complete bennett cruiser from http://www.the-skateboard-shop.com/complete-skateboards/ancient-school-completes/bennet-trucks and I’m really really pleased with it. It’s zippy and fun. I’m sure here are other cruiser boards on the internet, too. You can do a google search.

I would get a blank or shop deck so you don’t have to waste too much until you are sure its something you really want to get in to. I wouldn’t get a cruiser, not that its not a excellent deck for just riding nearly, but if you want to get into doing tricks, street skating, heading to the skim park, or riding tranny etc. it would be better to have a deck more suited to that style. You can cruise nearly just as simple on it too. I’d go with a larger deck (7.75 or
and more mellow concave at first. I reckon it is simpler to keep your balance and feel centered on a wider deck when you are starting out. After that its all personal preference really.

you can get a blank board
bones atf 52mm wheels
thunder trucks
mob griptape
bones reds bearings
maybe some hard bushings and 1/8″ shock risers
hard bushings force make tricks a bit simpler and if your going downhill it will stop some of the speed wobbles and you won’t get wheel bite
shock risers will prevent your board from cracking and will absorb the blows from doing tricks
but if your roving on asphalt with lots of small pebbles then you force want a 54mm wheel
sounds excellent for tricks and roving
excellent luck
