That is impracticable. If you want to do tricks on a skateboard and learn all the basics, your board is going to rasp no matter what. But its not just you that wants to keep it sterile. Even when i get new decks i want to stop it from scraping and i make a huge deal out of a small rasp. But your board is going to end up looking like crap if you delight in skateboarding. the only reason you should worry is if you want to sell the deck for how much you bought it. other wise its going to get shabby no matter what if you use it.

Well, I dont know if you mean the whole bottem of the board or just the midpoint not including the nose and the tail, cuz if you dont even want the nose and tail to be shabby, then you should just keep it in your room for decoration. But if you mean just the midpoint of the board where all the graphics are, after you’ve skated it for a week, even if you have place it in the best shape up, it doubtless will still have a couple parts shabby off, but the best thing to do is doubtless just dont do boardslides, darkslides, smiths, etc. And dont randomly chuck your board on the ground when your frustrated. Oh! And if your going down a curb, push down a small on the tail so the board wouldnt get shabby in the midpoint.
Thanks, Wayne.

a skateboard will eventually become scratched but a excellent way to prevent this is to take some wax (candle, skim wax, etc.) and rub it on the side opposite of the grip tape. This will also help you slide better when grinding. If your looking for a long lasting protection you CAN hold a product called “slip tape” but it’s not worth the cash.
